Transgender and transsexual are commonly mislead words that both consider 
gender character. Transgender are a wider, much more inclusive category that also includes all people who usually do not identify together with the sex that represents the gender they certainly were assigned at birth. Transsexual is actually an even more narrow group which includes people who aspire to actually transition with the sex that corresponds using the sex that they diagnose. (remember that the phrase “gender” is generally regularly reference social and social parts, while “intercourse” identifies physical attributes.)
All transsexual persons is transgender. However, not totally all transgender people include transsexual.
Transgender women are often called trans ladies. Some are often generally male-to-female transsexuals, MTFs, transsexual women, transgirls, or tgirls. The term “transsexual” originated as a medical term and it is often regarded pejorative. It will always be far better ask a person which phase is recommended.
